Lear Char

Lear Char graduated in Fashion Design in the early 1990s. He first studied traditional Chinese embroidery techniques and received professional training in early computerized embroidery digitizing using digitizer systems, building a solid foundation in embroidery design and embroidery digitizing.

Received professional training at Saurer AG, Switzerland.

In 1993, he attended specialized training in Computerized Embroidery Digitizing at Saurer AG, Switzerland, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of embroidery machinery, where he further advanced his expertise in digital embroidery design and digitizing technologies.

In 1995, he joined one of China’s leading embroidery and apparel manufacturers, where he was responsible for embroidery design, digitizing, product planning, and development, participating in the design, development, and production of a wide range of embroidered apparel products.

In 2005, he established an embroidery design studio in Yangzhou, China, creating an integrated operation covering embroidery design, digitizing, product development, production coordination, as well as hand embroidery and OEM manufacturing resources.

With more than 30 years of professional experience, he has been involved in the planning, development, and production of embroidered products for apparel, home textiles, and lifestyle brands across China, Japan, Europe, and North America. His expertise lies in combining traditional embroidery craftsmanship with modern digital embroidery technologies.

Today, through LEAR Co., Ltd. in Japan, he connects Japan, China, and international markets by providing comprehensive embroidery solutions, including embroidery design, digitizing, technical support, product development, and OEM manufacturing coordination.
